In appreciation of segment LCDs

I love segment LCDs. They’re low-power. Custom segments allow them to display perfectly sharp symbols, without any pixelation. They don’t need any special controllers/drivers/GPUs to program. To me as a user they signal that I’m dealing with a no-nonsense device that’s not going to display ads or other annoyances. And I just love their aesthetic. So here I’m going to collect photos of some that I’ve used that were done particularly well.
